Nusa Penida is one of the districts which is situated in Klungkung regency with its inhabitants approximately of 46.749 people that are divided into 16 villages (BatukandikBatumadegBatununggulBunga MekarJungutbatuKampung ToyapakehKlumpuKutampiKutampi KalerLembonganPedPejukutanSaktiSekartajiSuana, and Tangladwith its administrative capital, that is Sampalan.  As a district, it consists of three islands; among them are Nusa Penida, Nusa Ceningan and Nusa Lembongan in which each of them is located side by side. Geographically it’s located on the south east of Bali Island separated by Badung strait about 20 minutes by speed boat from Kusamba port, and 35 minutes from Sanur port. Among the three islands, Nusa Penida is the new one that has just been developed as a tourism destination after Ceningan and Lembongan about since 10 years ago as it is very famous for its landscape, traditional and cultural environment, for examples, like the way of the local’s life 

  included with their daily activities and the beauty of its own temples, such as, Ped temple, Puncak Mundi temple, Carangsari cave temple, and others too. Beside that the most attractive interests which can be interesting to be visited by the visitors, even the domestic or foreign tourists, that is, for its very beautiful white sandy beaches located on the southern part of Nusa Penida, such as, Atuh Beach, Bilabong Beach, Teletubis Beach, etc.Since the new regent of Klungkung regency, the intention of the development of Nusa Penida either for its infrastructures and constructions of hotels and restaurants has already been being conducted.
